Paper Heart
Daily Scrap
ripped
tattered
torn
visual journal
This is the cover of another journal I finished binding last night. I am completely smitten with the Diamond X binding I used; learned in Mary Ann's online class Ticket to Venice
The journal is 10.5" tall by 8" wide and has 80 pages in it. Unlike most of my journals, the pages in this one are mostly plain, white 90pd watercolor paper since I intend to use this as a visual journal and most of the pages will end up completely covered by college. I did add in a few decorative pages just because a little variety is always good.
And if anyone is wondering about the cover art; meet my muse. The title is a play on words as well as a life observation.
Collage is an art form that embodies much ripping and tearing of paper and is as much a part of my every day life as is the steady beat of my heart. There are often one and the same thing.
I'm looking forward to filling this journal.
I also have 2 journals in the works that will be up for adoption in my Etsy shop very soon. That is all I've got for now.
