An Unprotected Heart

Daily Scrap
Paint
Art Journal
She began like this.
A little bit of a mess on a collaged page.
Today she looks like this.
I'm getting braver with a pencil in my hand.
Pushing my comfort level with sketching to the limits.
This picture is from a Anthropolgie catalog of a pottery cage that I cut out and then attempted to draw from site.
My efforts produced this.
Two funny caged birds that make me smile.
That's all I've got for today.
Have an awesome week-end.
And if you happen to live in the Eastern edge of the US;
 baton down the hatches and stay safe and warm.

  1. I love how you showed us the start of what turned out to be a wonderful piece. And the birdcage is so sweet! I like your birds better! I must, someday, try to focus on one art form. Right now I am all over the place with no end in sight. Sewing pillows, a fabric collage, painting a glass jar, soldering.. you see what I mean? However, I love doing so many different things that maybe focusing on one medium isn't for me. Who knows! I just love coming to your blog for inspiration! See you soon!
