It's a sturdy wee journal with a big and strong heart.
This wee journal won't let you down.
I started making these last weekend.
I put them into my Etsy and before I could really share them anywhere else they were gone so I am busy making more of them and as I was thinking about them, I was smacked with a pretty huge dose of inspiration.
A new year is like a blank canvas and wondering what to do with it, where to start, how to begin, wondering how to bring the canvas to life and what it needs. It can be exciting and sometimes a little scary. I've got a few surprises up my sleeves for 2016. I can't reveal them just yet but soon.
In the meantime I've been busy making journals and sending them out into the world. A few of these are still available in my Etsy shop; link is in the side bar if you'd like to adopt one.
I also was honored to have been a contributor to Stampington's newest publication The Coloring Studio which is now available.
I've decided to keep my 2 on-line classes at their holiday discounted rate. I want to thank those of you out there who joined in on the fun and trusted that I had a few tricks up my sleeves to pass along.
For those of you who joined the Wanderlust class through my site I want to also give you all a big thank you. It's going to be a fun, exciting year with that crew. I'm looking forward to seeing what all the other teachers brewed up for the event. You can still join if you are looking for some creative inspiration for 2016.
I'm not a really big fan of making new year's resolutions, as soon as I do, it all just backfires so I've learned that just setting a few realistic goals, in tiny doses works better for me and the one goal I'm really going to try to accomplish this year is to do a better job of staying in touch via this blog. 2015 proved to be a handful as far as my time went. I'd make my to do lists and more often than not, something always stepped in to obliterate my good intentions. Time will tell if I'm successful or not, but I am going to try. I like my little corner on the web and don't like seeing cobwebs growing around the edges and dust on the sills. Gotta keep things tidy, fresh around here. :)
I have been able to get some pages in my newest journal off to a good start. Here are a few peeks at what I've been up to. The top one is finished but the others are all pages in progress. Just playing when I can grab a few minutes here and there.
That's all I've got for now.
Hoping you all have a wonderful 2016.
Looking forward to any mischief I can stir up to keep things fun and interesting.
